NEWS RELEASE

Three Tampa men were arrested today by a task force which targets Internet sex crimes involving minors. The group includes representatives from the Federal Bureua of Investigation (FBI), the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and the Tampa Police Department.

Carl Whitehead, Special Agent in Charge of the Tampa Division of the FBI, which is coordinating the task force operations, announced the arrest of Barry Adamson, age 50, 9707 Weeping Cherry Court, Tampa; Matthew Gasvoda, age 45, 708 Center Creek Drive, Tampa; and Wayne Rogero, age 50 of 2208 North Morgan St., Tampa, FL.

Gasvoda, Adamson, and Rogero were arrested without incident on Federal charges involving the violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2251(a) and 2252A(a)(5)(B), which is production and possession of child pornography.
