FBI SEEKS PUBLIC'S ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING PERSON OF INTEREST IN CONNECTION WITH AN ATTEMPTED BANK EXTORTION

Tampa, Florida - On June 6, 2007, an unknown caller contacted the Bank of America located at 250 E. Bearss Avenue Tampa, Florida attempting to extort money from the financial institution.

A subsequent investigation was initiated and is ongoing. A person of interest has been identified and believed to be in a position to assist law enforcement authorities with the current investigation. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is requesting the public's assistance in locating this individual.

Below is the identity and picture of the person being sought for questioning by the FBI. The FBI Tampa Field Office is requesting that anyone with information regarding the individual's whereabouts contact the FBI at their toll free hotline number 1-866-838-1153, or visit the local FBI office at 5525 West Gray Street, Tampa, Florida 33609. Callers wishing to provide information may remain anonymous.
