FBI SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN ARMORED CAR ROBBERY Tampa, Florida - On April 10, 2008, Brink’s company security guards were conducting a service call at the Wal-Mart Store located at 6216 Elliot Drive, Tampa, Florida, when two armed men, who were inside the store, approached one of the guards as he entered the business. One of the robbers grabbed the money bag and both suspects attempted to exit the store when an individual inside the business tackled the robber with the money bag. The robber dropped the bag and both robbers quickly fled the scene without the loot. The robbers were described as followings: Suspect number 1 - Black male, 20 to 25 years old, approximately 5 feet - 10 inches tall, stocky build, and weighed approximately 180 pounds. He was wearing dark pants, a bright yellow or orange long sleeve shirt, dark sunglasses, black wool hat, and a cloth wrapped around his face. Suspect number 2 - Black male, 20 to 25 years old, approximately 5 feet - 8 inches tall, thin build, and weighed approximately 150 pounds. He was wearing light colored pants and a long sleeve white colored tee -shirt worn under a navy blue colored tee - shirt. He also had a black hat and a red colored bandanna worn around his face. The FBI Tampa Field Office is requesting that anyone with information regarding this matter contact the FBI at 813/253-1000, or visit the local FBI office at 5525 West Gray Street, Tampa, Florida 33609. A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the robbers. |
